mononome is a musician/producer hailing from and based in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Being active since 2011, he soon accomplished to become one of the most recognizable figures within the Greek electronic scene.

Shortly after he managed to create a buzz performing throughout Europe playing festivals and venues sharing the stage with the likes of Thievery Corporation, Chinese Man, Nightmares On Wax, DJ Krush, Wax Tailor and Gramatik, amongst others.

Using mixed techniques, although heavily based around sampling, he constructs Instrumental Hip Hop / Downtempo soundscapes which are interactively delivered through heavy-real time grooves during his live sets, depicting a unique approach to every single show as if it is a blank canvas.

It’s impossible to pigeonhole 45Dopé into one category. His sets are moody and melodic, incorporating a variety of styles which he carefully blends together with an ease that is uncommon for such a young man.
Born in 1995, the Thessaloniki native has been heavily influenced by jazz, afro rhythms and electronic beats. His freestyle, vinyl only sets have earned him recognition in the Greek scene and regular gigs at various bars and events, where he has played alongside well known local and international artists.
